This project is part of a design-and-build competition and consists of an extension to the ULB sports hall in order to accommodate a hockey pitch.

The winner of the competition is team In Advance – Montois & Partners with an immediate start of the study and development of this project.

The structure consists of a concrete slab supported by posts arranged in a "random" manner; the concrete slab supports the playing field and the glued laminated timber frame constitutes the main skeleton of the building’s upper floor.
